Medflow — Hospital Cases

Medflow is a hospital case-management workspace built with AWC UI web components. Explore fictional patient cases, assign clinicians, and follow care coordination from intake to discharge.

Open Medflow · Try clinician assignment

  1. Explore the overview. Inspect case counts, patient-flow charts, the priority worklist, and recent coordination activity.
  2. Manage a worklist. Open Patient cases, search or filter the records, sort a column, select cases, and export the current results as CSV.
  3. Assign a clinician. Open an unassigned case and choose an available care owner. Assignments validate clinician capacity, including bulk changes.
  4. Follow a case. Open its side sheet, add a coordination note, or advance its status. Discharge requires Ready for discharge; discharged cases are read-only.
  5. Make it yours. Use the settings button beside the avatar to change the primary color, density, language, direction, or appearance. Arabic updates the workspace and authentication screens and selects right-to-left layout.

The overview is a public demo. To explore the account flow, choose Sign in → Use demo credentials, then enter verification code 246810. The recovery code is MEDF2026. Signup accepts fictional details and a sample password of at least 12 characters. Verification expires after five minutes and locks after five failed attempts.

Native chips display priority and status. The rail’s built-in control expands or collapses navigation. Menus use the library’s popover layer above dialogs and sheets. Loading feedback preserves mounted charts and fields, and action loaders prevent duplicate submissions. The app adds layout and domain logic around the existing components.

This is a plain JavaScript application in apps/medflow. The docs build stages its self-contained output at /showcase/medflow/html/, with local fonts, AWC runtime chunks, and the theme generator. Hash routes work on static hosting.

All patient records are fictional. Cases, notes, profiles, and authentication challenges live in memory and reset on reload. Only appearance, language, density, direction, and rail preferences persist locally. Authentication is a visible demo flow; it does not connect to an identity provider or protect medical records. Use fictional input when exploring the forms.

From the repository root, with core and theme built:

Terminal window
pnpm --filter @awc-ui/medflow dev

Open Medflow locally. The standalone server serves a snapshot: rebuild and refresh after changing source. Tests run with pnpm --filter @awc-ui/medflow test.
