Waitlist privacy notice
This notice covers the AWC UI Data Grid waitlist and optional advertising measurement on this site. It does not cover a future purchase or customer account.
Who is responsible

What we collect and why
We collect your email address, signup time, the version of the early offer and signup wording, unsubscribe preference, and email delivery status. We use these to register your interest, send a signup receipt and Data Grid launch information, and record your early offer eligibility. Joining is voluntary and does not create a paid subscription.
By selecting “Join the waitlist”, you consent to these waitlist and launch emails. No confirmation email needs to be clicked. If somebody entered your address without permission, use the unsubscribe link or contact us.
We also process technical request data to prevent bots, abuse, and repeated email delivery, based on our legitimate interest in securing the service. Our application stores a daily pseudonymous IP identifier for rate limiting rather than the raw IP address. Our infrastructure providers necessarily process IP addresses and other technical data to handle and protect requests.
Service providers and access
Netlify hosts the site, backend, and database. Cloudflare Turnstile checks whether signup requests are legitimate. GoDaddy Professional Email, powered by Titan, sends and stores the emails. The project administrator receives a notification containing your email address. We do not sell the list or use tracking pixels in waitlist emails.
These providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Their data protection terms describe transfer safeguards, including the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses where applicable: Netlify, Cloudflare, and GoDaddy. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data or a copy of the relevant terms.
Retention
We retain waitlist and offer records until the launch offer closes, then review and remove them within 90 days unless needed for an unresolved request or a legal obligation. If launch is delayed, we review the list at least annually. Unsubscribing stops waitlist emails; we retain the minimum suppression and offer records needed to respect your choice and honor your eligibility. Requests to erase data are handled separately.
Email copies are also held in the administrator’s and sender’s mailboxes and must be included in retention and deletion requests. Provider security logs and backups follow the providers’ retention schedules.
Application rate-limit records are removed once their daily bucket is more than seven days old. Sending-budget records are removed after eight days. These short-lived records do not replace your signup or unsubscribe record.
Optional advertising measurement
Advertising measurement is separate from joining the waitlist and receiving launch emails. We ask before enabling it, using equally available Accept and Reject buttons. Rejecting has no effect on signup or your early offer. Reopen Advertising preferences using the button on this site to change your choice or withdraw permission.
After acceptance, eligible public pages can load the Google Ads tag to measure advertising. Google receives technical data such as your IP address, browser information and advertising cookie identifiers. We configure the tag with a fixed site URL and empty referrer, disable personalized advertising and analytics storage, and do not load it on pages with URL query parameters or fragments or on private waitlist links. We do not send a Google signup conversion from the form's generic success response. See how Google uses information from partner sites.
With your permission, we also store a random browser identifier in the _fbp cookie and, when the current link contains a valid Meta ad click ID, that ID in the _fbc cookie. After a new waitlist signup is saved, our server queues one Lead event for Meta containing these identifiers, your browser user-agent, event time, an event ID and a fixed site URL. We do not send your email address, an email hash, name, raw IP address or private link to Meta. Duplicate signups do not create another Lead. No Meta browser pixel is loaded. Reddit signup measurement is currently disabled. We do not store Reddit ad click IDs or attach them to signup requests while it is disabled.
With your permission, when the current link contains one valid Google ad click ID (gclid, gbraid or wbraid), we store that ID in the matching _awc_gclid, _awc_gbraid or _awc_wbraid cookie. After a new waitlist signup is saved, our server queues one signup conversion for Google Ads with that click ID, event time and an event ID. This server conversion is separate from the Google tag described above. We do not send your email address, an email hash, name, raw IP address or private link in this conversion. Your choice and a random code used to withdraw permission are stored on this device for up to 90 days. Advertising cookies created by this site are limited to that period; returning to the site does not renew your choice. When the period ends, we ask again. These preferences are specific to this browser. Necessary storage used to remember a rejection or retry a withdrawal is used only to respect your choice.
Pending server conversion events are retried for at most 24 hours. We clear their advertising identifiers when delivery finishes, fails, expires or is cancelled. Active consent records last up to 90 days. A withdrawal linked to a recorded consent is retained as a hashed record for up to 180 days to prevent a delayed request from restoring permission. Withdrawal codes without an associated signup expire after 24 hours. Minimal completed event records are removed after 30 days; routine cleanup runs hourly. Provider retention after receipt is governed by the provider's terms.
When you reject after accepting, we stop new optional measurement, remove this site's advertising cookies and reload the page if needed to unload the Google tag. A withdrawal request also cancels server conversion events that have not yet been sent. If your connection is unavailable, your browser keeps this withdrawal code and retries on a later visit or when connectivity returns. A request already in flight or data already received by a provider cannot be recalled by this control; contact us for an erasure request. Clearing browser storage can remove an unsent withdrawal request, so contact us if you need help.
Google and, when enabled, Meta and Reddit may process advertising data outside the European Economic Area. Their linked privacy terms explain processing and international transfer safeguards. This optional processing relies on your consent; withdrawing it does not affect processing that already took place lawfully.
Your choices and rights
You may withdraw email consent at any time using the unsubscribe link. This does not affect previous lawful processing or remove your early offer eligibility. You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the address above; we may need to verify the request to protect your information.
You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In Romania, this is ANSPDCP. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely through automated processing.
